Our story
The story of the proposal is very "Huzaifa and Batul". She knew there was a proposal coming since she knew that he had bought her a ring. He had made up a partial lie that the ring he wanted got lost in transit and he had to buy a "second choice" ring. His flight from Chicago to London was delayed by 9 hours the day before and his bags with his clothes had not arrived. Overall, it was looking like a nightmare proposal. On the day of the proposal, he and she had gone to the Apple Market and were running late by 30 minutes. To make up, he literally made her run to the place where he planned to propose. He booked her a private pod at the London Eye at 3:40 PM. The timing was such that there would be sunlight on the way up, sunset at the top, and beautiful city lights on the way down. He proposed to her with an embarrassing speech that made her cringe, laugh and cry. Then he gave her the ring, the kind she would love for the rest of her life. The rest, well, it's their love story.

Our Nikkah
A day wrapped in duas, family, and forever.
Our story
The Nikkah was "rushed", but only by pre-held notions from people on how it "should be done". For her and him, it was perfect. It felt natural, almost obvious, and perfect. It had been a cozy, rainy week in Chennai. Her family had traveled from Mumbai, made it without Indigo flight cancellations. She was asked to come home early, too early, to get ready for the big day. He took the opportunity to provide her with a taste of Chennai Benne Dosa, an almost perfect start to the auspicious day. The function was beautiful, with family and friends sharing their joy. Fifteenth December twenty twenty-five, the day their forever started.
